Gardeners maintaining the areas around the perimeter of the garden are encouraged to plant native pollinator plants. A list of plants approved by the Hill East Community Garden board is below. The list was provided by the DC Department of Energy & Environment and can also be found here. Questions about perimeter plantings not on this list should be referred to the board for approval.
